Natural Born Realness. 21Gramm is a new sparkling-natural drink for the German crowd on the move.
The Brief
21Gramm. was a new brand looking to enter the market with a new line of fruit-flavored soft drinks. Their brand is all about the sustainability of both their business and their customers. The name of the brand comes from the famous MacDougall study that attempted to determine the weight of a human's soul.
Their co-founder, Atif Harchafe, asked me to formalize his vision of the logo and design the bottle labels for their flagship product: maracuyá juice.
The Solution
Atif was very intent on using his idea of a vintage press for the logo, so I designed one based on an old 1920 metal juice press. This was done as I made a 3D model of their signature bottle and worked on the label using a gradient mesh for the fruit illustration.
